Jade in A Woman’s Touch
November 3-28, 2021
The exotic allure of Jade’s magic stems from her Chinese heritage and her childhood on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Jade has performed on the stages of prestigious theaters, luxury cruise lines, and casino revue shows in Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, and Las Vegas. She has received France’s most prestigious magic honor, the Golden Mandrake Award, as well as the recognition of “Best Female Magician of the Year” award from the International Magicians Society. The invitation from the Royal Family of Monaco to perform at the Princess Grace Theater is one of the many highlights of her career. Long considered a pioneer in her field, she continues to be on the leading edge of modern magic.
A Woman’s Touch is an intriguing look at how magic and reality coexist in our lives. Not just the for the magician but for everyone. The “world of the unexplained” will be explored in each performance.
We all have a story to tell. And as Jade shares her unique history and her magic, the audience is invited to be a part of the show. Cast away your preconceptions and enter a magical world where one can question what is possible, with excitement and delight.
Siegfried Tieber in Sixty-Seven Keys
December 1, 2021-January 2, 2022
Siegfried Tieber’s newest show, Sixty-Seven Keys, blurs the line between the improbable and the impossible. Storyteller and magician Siegfried Tieber uses sleight of hand, magic, and illusion to guide his audience through an unlikely journey unlocked by a single key selected by each night’s audience. Inspired by The Seven Keys to Baldpate – a book written in 1913 about a man who visits a secluded inn to find some peace and quiet only to be distracted by six other characters who also have keys to his chamber – Sixty-Seven Keys presents its own set of obstacles to overcome as mysteries unfold during every performance. When we flip a coin we create two possible outcomes, a fork in the road. Rolling a die unlocks six doors; shuffling a deck of cards creates more possibilities than the human mind can imagine. What happens when the choice of one single key unlocks an evening of unimaginable possibilities?
The Evasons in Second Sight
January 5-30, 2022
During the early 19th century, a small number of married couples gained significant notoriety with performances of Second Sight. The Evasons are one of very few couples in history who have mastered the incredible artistry of two-person telepathy. They continue to travel around the globe as they share this rare and mysterious legacy.
From the moment they walk on stage, Jeff and Tessa Evason interact and engage with everyone in the audience. People are speechless when Tessa perceives birth dates, personal items, a serial number on any bill in a borrowed wallet or even the name of distant loved ones — all while standing on stage wearing a blindfold. Her intuitive gifts will captivate you. You might even unleash a spooked-out shriek!
The Evasons have traveled to over 38 countries, performing at private parties and gala events. They’ve appeared on network television in North America and around the world. And they have received some of the top awards in the field of magic and psychic entertainment.
Eric Jones in Immaculate Deception
February 2-27, 2022
In December of 1972 something magical happened at Three Rivers Stadium. To this day spectators are unsure just how it transpired. Through some combination of skill, chance and miracle Steelers fullback, Franco Harris, recovered a fumbled ball and pulled the team from the depths of sure defeat, scoring a game winning touchdown with 30 seconds on the clock. One of the greatest plays of all time- The Immaculate Reception.
Drawing inspiration from our city’s history of miraculous moments, Eric Jones, Liberty Magic’s Inaugural Magician and Artistic Advisor, returns to the Liberty Magic stage for a third residency to bring us a brand-new show. Featuring perplexing prestidigitation created with Pittsburgh in mind, this premier production is sure to amaze and inspire. Don’t take your eye off the ball… or the card… or the coin… You just might catch The Immaculate Deception.
Hailing from Philadelphia, Eric has been astounding audiences world wide for nearly 20 years. He has appeared on Comedy Central, on The CW’s Masters of Illusion, successfully fooled Penn and Teller on the hit show Fool Us and was among the final 12 contestants on season 12 of America’s Got Talent. An award-winning performer, Eric Jones’s magic has been showcased at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood and Monday Night Magic, NYC’s longest-running Off- Broadway magic show. He has appeared on television in 19 countries spanning 5 continents and has wowed dozens of A-List celebrities all over the globe.
Jon Tai in Road Signs
March 2-April 3, 2022
Jon Tai is a critically acclaimed magician and storyteller whose mission is to foster connections between people through shared moments of astonishment. He is best known for having co-created and starred in “Missed Connections” at off-Broadway’s Drama Desk Award-winning 59E59 Theaters in New York City, following a sold-out run at Chicago’s MacArthur and multi-Jeff Award-winning A Red Orchid Theatre Company. Chris Jones, Chief Theater Critic of the Chicago Tribune, writes that Tai “proves magic’s power” while Catey Sullivan of the Sun-Times calls him “beguiling" and “simply astonishing.”
Jon is a proud Pittsburgher who lives with his wife Kate and tiny dog Nina in Troy Hill. Whereas Missed Connections took audience members on a cosmic mission across the multiverse, Jon is thrilled to come home to Liberty Magic with Road Signs – his earthly exploration of the quintessential American road trip and the various magical encounters one faces along the way.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has overseen one of Pittsburgh’s most historic transformations: turning a seedy red-light district into a magnet destination for arts lovers, residents, visitors, and business owners. Founded in 1984, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is a non-profit arts organization whose mission is the cultural and economic revitalization of a 14-block arts and entertainment/residential neighborhood called the Cultural District. The District is one of the country’s largest land masses “curated” by a single nonprofit arts organization. A major catalytic force in the city, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is a unique model of how public-private partnerships can reinvent a city with authenticity, innovation and creativity. Using the arts as an economic catalyst, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has holistically created a world-renowned Cultural District that is revitalizing the city, improving the regional economy and enhancing Pittsburgh’s quality of life. Thanks to the support of foundations, corporations, government agencies and thousands of private citizens, the Trust stands as a national model of urban redevelopment through the arts.
