Past, Present, Future presented by Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council

“Past, Present, Future” celebrates the past 10 years of the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council’s exhibition program, Art on the Walls (AOW). What began as a biannual, solo exhibition opportunity for Pittsburgh-based artists has grown to display artwork in six corporate locations and garnered more than $70,000 in art sales for its participating artists. In “Past, Present, Future,” all past exhibiting artists have been invited to participate and features visual art, photography, and sculptural work.

Bookish in the ‘Burgh| Registration for Teen Day Open
January 31
About: Registration for “Teen Day” at Bookish in the Burgh, Pittsburgh’s Teen Book Festival, will open on January 31. On March 28, during the Teen Day, attendees will enjoy panel sessions themed around topics common in teen literature and of interest to teen readers, free writing workshops for young people, a pop-up bookstore from the Festival’s presenting sponsor Riverstone Books, and free hands-on activities for teens led by community organizations throughout the day. Teen Day culminates in an Author Signing Party, where fans of teen literature can meet the 30+ featured authors and get their books signed.

About: Singers Jane Monheit, Jim Caruso and singer/pianist/arranger Billy Stritch have joined forces in Hollywoodland: Songs from the Silver Screen. Material includes beloved songs like Pennies From Heaven, Let’s Misbehave, Over The Rainbow, If I Only Had A Brain, Whistle While You Work, and It Happened In Sun Valley. The trio is accompanied by Rick Montalbano on drums and Neal Miner on bass.

About: Blippi Live! brings the energetic and loveable character Blippi off the screen and onto the stage with world-class production, audience engagement and amazing music. Children from the ages of 2 to 7 years old across the world have quickly taken a liking to Blippi’s charismatic personality and innovative teaching lessons! In the Live show they will continue to learn about the world around them while singing and dancing along with this one of a kind show.
Please note: Stevin John is the creator of Blippi and acts as the writer and creative force behind the Blippi character. Now that Blippi has evolved as a character he is excited that a dynamic stage performer has been cast as Blippi to entertain and thrill audiences across all of the tour markets.
