About: This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival which takes place throughout the Cultural District, Point State Park, and Gateway Center starting Friday June 7 through the June 16. Over 10days, you can find world-class, multi-disciplinary performing and visual arts attractions. This year's Festival is like none other and includes performances from GrammyⓇ Award-winning artists, internationally-acclaimed visual art, and annual favorites like the Artist Market, food trucks, and more.

Join us on June 7 for Festival kick-off day! Starting on the Wyndham Lawn at 11 a.m., get a first look at the public art and Festival highlights, and interview Director of the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival, Sarah Aziz.
After India.Arie's headlining performance at 7 p.m., Festival attendees are invited to come together for a streetdance party, Critical Mass, at Stanwix Stage with music from three of Pittsburgh's top DJs.

About: This group of unique Kenyan artists transform more than 750,00 flip flops a year into vibrant colorful sculptures of exotic animals and much more! In addition to making great art, the organization has served as the catalyst for change and has not only impacted the environment of Kenya in a positive way but the economy as well, decreasing the 40 percent unemployment rate by supplying hundreds of jobs to natives. These sculptures will be located at the Gateway Center and can be viewed everyday of the festival.

An Ocean Sole artist will be on-site creating a giraffe sculpture on the Wyndham Lawn on June 3rd for an openining segment from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

About: Co-presented by the Pittsburgh Dance Council, Origami by Compagnie Furinkaï makes it’s U.S. debut at this year’s TRAF. Watch as Franco-Japanese dancer/choreographer, Satchie Noro, uses a 40-foot shapeshifting shipping container, created by French designer/builder, Silvain Ohl, as her main stage, weaving in and out of the container’s structure to produce a memorable and exciting visual performance. Performances will take place at Point Stake Park on Friday, June 14th at 9:00p.m., Saturday, June 15th at 5:00 and 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 16th at 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

About: Located on the Point State Park Lawn every day during the Festival, this functional visual art consists of colorful, larger-than-life, spinning tops woven in a traditional Mexican style that double as interactive seating.
About: A favorite part of the Festival, attendees can shop rows and rows of artist booths at Gateway Center and Point State Park while exploring multiple disciplines of art! The Artist Market features approximately 400 artists in 2019.

About: Designed by artist Toby Atticus Fraley, the piece will collect messages from the public tobe stored in two time capsules - one entrusted to the Mayor’s Office of Pittsburgh and the other with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Participants will leave messages for Festival-goers 100 years from now! Each person will have one minute to record their message, so start brainstorming now!

About: Presented by Nickelodeon and VStar Entertainment Group, tickets are now on sale for Nick Jr. Live! “Move to the Music,” an all-new, one-of-a-kind adventure. For the first time on stage together, this musical spectacular features characters from multiple Nick Jr. hit animated series, including Bubble Guppies, PAW Patrol (produced by Spin Master Entertainment), Dora The Explorer, Shimmer and Shine, Blue’s Clues and You, Blaze and the Monster Machines, and Top Wing. Nick Jr. Live! “Move to the Music” follows Dora and her PAW co-hosts Marshall and Rubble as they invite their Nick Jr. friends to come together for a music-filled production. Five performances will take place during January 17-19, 2020 at the Benedum Center.

The North American cast was recently announced for the production coming to the Benedum Center on Tuesday, March 10 to Sunday March 15th. The Band's Visit tells the story of an Israeli desert town where every day feels the same, something different is suddenly in the air. Dina, the local café owner, had long resigned her desires for romance to daydreaming about exotic films and music from her youth. When a band of Egyptian musicians shows up lost at her café, she and her fellow locals take them in for the night. Under the spell of the night sky, their lives intertwine in unexpected ways, and this once sleepy town begins to wake up.

The First National Tour of Dear Evan Hansen has broken the box office record for the highest-grossing week of an eight-performance PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh engagement at Heinz Hall. The production grossed $1,827,137 during the show’s May 21-26, 2019 engagement.
